Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez was present at the FIFA 120th anniversary celebration. Emmanuel Macron, the president of the French Republic, and Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, both spoke at the ceremony, which took place at the Elysee Palace in Paris. The director of institutional relations, Emilio Butragueño, and our honorary president, José Martínez Pirri, also represented Real Madrid.
FIFA was founded on May 21, 1904, on Saint-Honoré Street in Paris. Real Madrid is the only club that participated in the founding of the highest body in world football. They did it together with the football associations of France, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.
