Florentino Pérez remains committed to his long-standing ambition of signing the best players in the world for Real Madrid. This summer, he achieved a major goal by securing Kylian Mbappé, who many believe is untouchable when in top form. At his peak, not even Haaland or Vinicius can compete with him, as demonstrated by his exceptional performance in the World Cup final in Qatar.

Real Madrid currently boasts one of the strongest squads in the club’s history, though madridistas have pointed out the need for reinforcements in key positions. According to recent reports, the club's roadmap for 2025 and beyond includes bolstering the team with two full-backs, a center-back, and a midfielder.

Pérez, more than just the president of the world’s most prestigious football club, is also a masterful negotiator, adept at spotting market opportunities. In the past, Real Madrid had the chance to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, but Pérez opted not to exceed an offer of €30-35 million due to Davies’ contract expiring within 12 months. Similarly, the club has an eye on Alexander-Arnold, who has yet to renew his contract with Liverpool.

Rodri has now emerged as a primary target for Madrid’s 2025 summer transfer window. Widely regarded as the world’s best defensive midfielder, Rodri’s move to Madrid will depend on any potential sanctions against Manchester City and Guardiola’s future at the club. If a severe punishment does not materialize, prying Rodri away from City could prove challenging. Should Rodri remain out of reach, alternatives like Kimmich or Wirtz may step in, as Real Madrid is expected to bring in at least three marquee signings next year.
