The upcoming Real Madrid Members' Assembly is set to address several important topics, one of which could mark a turning point in the club’s history. Reports suggest that Florentino Pérez is considering a major change to Real Madrid’s ownership model.

As is well known, Real Madrid is one of only four LaLiga clubs still fully owned by its members, alongside FC Barcelona, Athletic Club, and Osasuna. However, this could soon change, as the proposal to modify the ownership structure is expected to be presented at the next assembly.

According to Ramón Álvarez de Mon, the club is exploring a new model inspired by Bayern Munich’s system. Under this approach, Real Madrid’s members would retain majority ownership, while a limited percentage of shares could be opened to private investors or funds.

This model would maintain the club’s member-based foundation but allow external partners to invest, potentially increasing financial flexibility while keeping control firmly in the hands of the socios. Florentino Pérez continues to lead this evolution of the club’s structure and future.
