Following José Manuel Villarejo's comments accusing him of bribing referees on Tuesday, Real Madrid have released an official statement.
The club reacted fast to the accusations made on RAC1, in which the former commissioner said that Florentino had bought off officials and that Real Madrid's president was "untouchable".
"The president of Real Madrid CF, Florentino Pérez, has ordered the immediate presentation of the corresponding judicial action against former commissioner Villarejo for the false accusations made on the Catalan radio station RAC1," can be read in the official statement.
