Madridistas around the globe watched the emotional visit of already very famous grandfather's visit to the Santiago Bernabeu during Saturday's game against Getafe.
His granddaughter has thanked former Real Madrid player Alvaro Tejero who made this dream possible. "Thank you all very much. My grandfather couldn't be more excited and happier. All this dream was possible thanks to Alvaro."
Alvaro Tejero was part of Real Madrid from 2005 to 2019, having made only one first-team appearance. He then left the club for Eibar where he continues to play until now.
It was Zinedine Zidane who promoted Tejero to Real Madrid Castilla on his time.
Amazingly, the 27-year-old continues to do some wonderful things for Real Madrid and its supporters.
