In an interview with El Larguero, Fran García made it clear that he remains and will always be a Real Madrid fan, despite no longer playing for the club. Reflecting on his time at the Santiago Bernabéu, the former Real Madrid player said: "I fulfilled my childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid. I wanted to enjoy it and compete. I couldn't be happier."
The full-back also expressed his gratitude toward Real Madrid, speaking positively about his time at the club despite his departure this summer. García left after three seasons to join Real Betis in Seville.
In a previous interview with AS, García explained that he felt he no longer had a place in the squad following the arrival of Cucurella. He also revealed that he asked Real Madrid to allow him to leave and complete a move to Betis.
