Who is the greatest Ballon d'Or winner of all time? France Football, the magazine behind the prestigious award that has recognized the world's best footballer since 1956, is inviting fans to answer that question through a new poll on its website. Users can vote for the player they believe has been the most deserving winner among those who have claimed the award at least twice.
Only ten footballers are eligible for the BOAT award (Ballon d'Or All Times), with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo emerging as the leading contenders in the race to be named the greatest winner in the award's history.
Participants will also have the chance to win two tickets to next Monday's 2026 Ballon d'Or gala, with the tickets being raffled among users who take part in the poll. Voting costs one euro.
