Gabriel Paulista was the negative protagonist in Valencia's defeat against Real Madrid. The center-back was sent off with a direct red card after a tough tackle on Vinícius in the second half, with Valencia losing 2-0.

On his Instagram page, the Valencia player posted the following statement:
