Erling Haaland has once again been linked with Real Madrid after comments made by his father, Alfie Haaland, during an interview with DAZN.
While stressing that his son is happy at Manchester City and remains under a long-term contract, Alfie admitted that playing for Real Madrid is an ambition shared by many footballers.
"I don't want to talk much about options at other clubs. He's happy at City, he has a long contract... but every player wants to play for Real Madrid," Haaland's father said.
When asked about the possibility of a future move, he added:
"Perhaps, perhaps... There are always opportunities in football. There are fantastic teams in Spain, great clubs. You never know, but right now he's in England and he's happy."
Although Haaland's representatives continue to insist that the striker is happy at Manchester City, Alfie stopped short of ruling out a future move to the Spanish club.
