One only needs to look at the list of champions of the European Cup, now the Champions League, to understand that the milestone of the 14 'Cups with big ears' of Real Madrid is invaluable. Six of these titles were won in the first decade of the competition, between 1955 and 1966, but in the last 25 years our team won more Champions than the club with the second most titles, Milan, in its entire history. And now we are two games away from adding another one.

The white club has been crowned champion five times in the last decade, an unmatched feat in recent football history. Of course, the Cups are proudly displayed at the Santiago Bernabéu, but so are the club's coffers, which have gained enormous rewards from their European participation in the last ten years.

But how much money have Real Madrid collected for their accomplishments as the "Kings of Europe"?

Real Madrid have earned €769.17M in the last decade solely from the rewards of the Champions League. They collected €57.4 million in the 'Décima' season. The following season, the club lost in the semifinals to Juventus, pocketing €52.54M. Only one year later, in 2015/16, they reclaimed the continental crown with the 'Eleventh', the second in the recent decade, when they defeated Atlético Madrid in Milan. That added €80.06M to the coffers.

That was the start of a fantastic cycle, with three Champions League titles in a row, which continued in 2016/17 and 2017/18, with victories over Juventus and Liverpool in the finals. The club then took €81.05 million and €88.65 million. In the next two seasons, the club was eliminated in the round of 16, first by Ajax and then by Manchester City, but earned €85.03M and €80.84M respectively.

Real Madrid reached three figures in revenue in the last two seasons, with €109.9M in 2020/21 despite losing in the semifinals to Chelsea and €133.7M with the 'Fourteenth'.
