Several former English players have offered their views on Bellingham's future on BT Sport. One of them is Rio Ferdinand, who said: "If I were Jude Bellingham, I would go to Real Madrid. With what they are doing now, they have a great combination of young players with experience. They also have Valverde, Camavinga and Tchouaméni, three of the best midfielders in the game to work with. It's a club that has been building for success over a good period of time. Liverpool? I think if they had admitted they were interested in Jude, they would still have a chance. Only because he is a player who believes in himself and would support himself to be the catalyst to get Liverpool back up."
Another legendary former Manchester United player, Paul Scholes also spoke about it on the same channel: "I think Bellingham will sign for Real Madrid, I don't know why. I have that feeling."
Similarly, former striker Peter Crouch is clear about it: "If he doesn't go to Liverpool, there's something about wearing that Real Madrid white. Being an English player and playing there, I think Bellingham would end up being the captain of England if he goes to Spain and wins Champions League trophies."
