Real Madrid’s injury problems have reached critical levels, with the squad recording 55 injuries so far this season. Combined with the 63 from last year, the total rises to 118 injuries over the past two campaigns.
In comparison, Atlético Madrid and Barcelona have registered a combined 147 injuries in the same period, highlighting the scale of the issue affecting Real Madrid and the competitive disadvantage it creates.
The current season has been particularly severe. November marked the peak with 11 injuries, part of a five-month stretch in which the team suffered 39 physical setbacks: October (7), November (11), December (7), January (7), and February (7).
At this stage, only Vinicius, Fran García, Gonzalo, and Brahim remain injury-free. The remaining 20 players in the squad have all dealt with physical issues, with 13 sidelined for more than 50 days and eight missing over 100 days.
The situation has left the club struggling to manage the ongoing crisis and maintain consistency throughout the season.
