Real Madrid already knows the start date for the 2024-25 season. Javier Tebas confirmed the new championship's kickoff dates to the media last Sunday after attending the La Liga FC Futures tournament in Villarreal, where Valencia defeated Sevilla 3-0 in the final.

The next season will commence on the weekend of August 16, 17, and 18, just two days after the European Super Cup, featuring Real Madrid, the Champions League winner, and Atalanta, the Europa League champion. Additionally, the 2024-25 campaign will conclude in May, with the last five matchdays spread over four weekends (May 3-4, 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25) and an additional midweek fixture around May 14.
