Joan Martínez underwent successful surgery, performed by the same specialist who previously treated Eder Militao. The 17-year-old received an outpouring of support from his teammates, including Endrick, Lucas Vázquez, Jude Bellingham, and others.
Unfortunately, Martínez suffered a serious ACL injury during a training session on August 9, 2024, which will sideline him for a significant portion of the 2024/25 season. This injury came just weeks after his impressive performances against AC Milan and Barcelona during Real Madrid's pre-season tour in the United States.
