According to a new report, football agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Cristiano Ronaldo, Darwin Nunez, and others, is in talks with Manchester United about Real Madrid's Marco Asensio.

Asensio has previously been linked to United as Erik Ten Hag looks to overhaul his squad this summer.

Ten Hag is said to want to add attacking players to his squad this summer, with Asensio the most recent link.

The 26-year-old, who is currently with Real Madrid, can play across the attacking frontline, primarily on the right wing.

"Jorge Mendes is in talks with Manchester United for Marco Asensio," according to journalist Tomas Gonzalez.

At this point, it is unknown whether Ten Hag considers Asensio a desirable target, and only time will tell whether United's interest is genuine.
