Fede Valverde remains a key part of Real Madrid's plans despite speculation surrounding his future following the end of last season.

Despite the speculation, Real Madrid have no intention of considering offers for their captain. The club reportedly remains confident that Valverde can return to his best form.

According to Marca, José Mourinho is planning to meet with the midfielder to offer his support ahead of the new season.

The Portuguese coach reportedly views Valverde as one of the squad's most important players because of his talent, work rate and leadership qualities. Mourinho intends to keep the midfielder in the starting lineup and considers him a central figure both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

The report also states that Mourinho has no plans to strip Valverde of the captain's armband, ending speculation over a possible change in the club's leadership.
