José Mourinho has reportedly already identified the core of his starting lineup for the 2026-27 season at Real Madrid.
According to Diario AS, six players are considered guaranteed starters in the Portuguese manager's plans. Thibaut Courtois remains the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper, while new signing Marc Cucurella is expected to take over as the starting left-back.
In midfield, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham are viewed as key figures who will play central roles under Mourinho.
Further forward, Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior will continue to spearhead Real Madrid's attack.
The report adds that Mourinho is working on a tactical system designed to maximize Mbappé's goalscoring ability, while Bellingham is expected to operate in an advanced No. 10 role, making late runs into the penalty area similar to the role he has performed for England during the World Cup.
