Joselu Mato recently gave an interview to AS where he discussed Real Madrid's current season. It's important to note that the team has already played four La Liga matches and the UEFA Super Cup final. Despite securing their first trophy of the season, the media has still been critical.
"Right now, they've already won one title, the European Super Cup... but people need to understand that only four league games have been played, and some are already writing Madrid off. That's a mistake. This kind of thinking only causes problems later because, as they say, if you spit in the sky, it falls back on your face. Madrid will be competing for the six remaining titles. I remember when Benzema left, people said Madrid wouldn't win anything. Yet, we only lost two games all season. Real Madrid will compete for everything and fight for all the titles—no one should doubt that," Joselu stated.
