The relationship between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappé is reportedly going through a difficult period, with both sides experiencing growing dissatisfaction over several issues. The French forward believes the club's project needs changes in several areas and feels the squad lacks certain profiles of players. Meanwhile, Real Madrid have also developed concerns about Mbappé's conduct, believing he has not always behaved as expected from the team's leading star, both on and off the pitch.

Neither side has fully achieved the objectives that accompanied their partnership. Real Madrid have seen their fortunes decline after winning a historic double just over two seasons ago, while Mbappé is still waiting to end his Champions League drought and has yet to win a major trophy as a Real Madrid player.

The relationship is therefore reportedly far from ideal, with doubts emerging over whether the Frenchman will remain at the club beyond this season. Daniel Riolo, a journalist close to the France captain, has also questioned his future at Real Madrid.

"Let's not rule out a departure at the end of the season," he stated on After RMC.

According to Riolo, tensions between Mbappé and the club began last season. He claims the handling of the forward's knee injury had a significant emotional impact on the player and eventually contributed to growing frustration.

"The knee episode really affected him."

Since then, further tensions have reportedly emerged, leading to an increasingly difficult relationship between the player and the club.
