The UNFP (the French Professional Footballers' Union) has named Karim Benzema the best French player abroad. Dembele (Barcelona), Theo Hernandez (Milan), Kanté (Chelsea), and Maignan (Milan) were all beaten by Real Madrid forward. After winning the award in 2019 and 2021, Benzema has now won it three times in a row (in 2020 it was not awarded). He has 44 goals in 44 games this season, making him the top scorer in both the Champions League and LaLiga.
