According to Cadena Ser, Kepa Arrizabalaga will start in goal for Real Madrid against Celta Vigo on Friday. It only took a few training sessions for the Basque goalkeeper to persuade Carlo Ancelotti and overtake Lunin in the Italian coach's plans after he arrived on loan from Chelsea last week to replace the injured Thibaut Courtois.

After the victory over Almera at the Power Horse Stadium, Ancelotti commented, "Sooner or later he is going to play, maybe the next game." Kepa arrived in good shape and was already included in the match squad in Almeria. The aforementioned media claims that Lunin will compete in the Cup during the first rounds while Kepa will start in the Champions League and Copa del Rey.

Last season the Ukrainian goalkeeper played the round of 16 match against Cacereño but for the rest of the tournament it was Courtois who occupied Real Madrid's goal. The Belgian's injuries allowed him to play seven league games and three in the Champions League. Now, Lunin will be relegated back to the bench.
