There is still a lot to play for in the current season, but we already know when we will be able to start enjoying Real Madrid in the 2023-2024 campaign.

LaLiga and AFE have already made public the calendar for the next year marked, among other things, by the Euro that will be played in the summer of 2024. For this reason, the league will start on the weekend of 12-13 August. This has been established in the meeting they had on Monday between LaLiga and AFE. A decision that only has to be approved by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The RFEF will evaluate the proposal to confirm the indicated dates. In principle it seems that there will be no problem, although if there were, the CSD would have to enter to mediate and make a decision.

The matchday 38 of the First Division will take place over the weekend of May 26, 2024. This means that the League's final match will take place one week prior to the June 1 Champions League final. The Eurocup, meanwhile, will begin on June 14.

The League will take a break over the Christmas weeks, as it has done in previous years. On Wednesday, December 20, the domestic competition will play its final games of 2023. And unlike this season, when for instance Real Madrid returned from the holiday break on December 30 with the game in Zorrilla against Valladolid, these holidays will last until the new year. On January 2, 3, and 4, 2024 national football is expected to resume.
