Scariolo’s side controlled large portions of the game and built leads of up to 12 points, but their advantage disappeared in a decisive final quarter dominated by the hosts.
Facundo Campazzo led Real Madrid in scoring with 24 points and reached a personal milestone, equaling Fabien Causeur as the third foreign player with the most appearances for the club at 486 games. Edy Tavares was also a standout, finishing with 17 points, 9 rebounds, and a performance index rating of 25.
