Kylian Mbappé can start talks with any club over a pre-contract starting on January 1, 2024.

Spanish journalist José Álvarez provided the most recent information about Real Madrid's pursuit of Mbappé on El Chiringuito's Twitch channel.

He points out that there could be big news regarding this drama in the coming weeks. Real Madrid appear to want to complete this signing in the January window so that it does not spill over into the second half of the 2023–24 campaign.

"In three weeks, something big is going to happen with Mbappé,” Álvarez said. "Mbappé only wants to play for Real Madrid next season. It is not in his plans to renew with PSG.

"The forward puts his future in the hands of Florentino. He has already bought a house in Madrid. Mbappé believes that the summer of 2024 is the time to arrive at Real Madrid,” he added.
