Leny Yoro, the highly sought-after Lille centre-back, has emerged as Real Madrid's top priority for the upcoming season. At just 18 years old, Yoro's versatility and defensive prowess have made him a hot commodity in the transfer market. The Spanish giants are not alone in their pursuit, as PSG has also expressed interest in the young Frenchman.
However, Real Madrid's chances of securing Yoro have increased following the departure of Nacho. Initially, Los Blancos aimed to acquire Yoro at a significantly lower price than Lille's demands. Recent reports indicated that Lille's minimum asking price was around €60M, a sum Real Madrid was unwilling to meet.
In a positive turn for Real Madrid, Yoro has expressed his desire to join the club, which has led Lille to reduce their asking price to €50M, according to Matteo Moretto. Although the figure remains high, negotiations have progressed, bringing an agreement closer than it was just a few weeks ago.
