Sergio Llull has officially become the player with the most games played in Euroleague history. The Real Madrid captain reached 426 appearances in the competition during the home game against Bayern Munich, surpassing American player Kyle Hines. Llull’s Euroleague journey began on February 14, 2008, when he made his debut against Zalgiris Kaunas at Vistalegre. Since then, he has developed a strong connection with the competition, winning it three times (2015, 2018, and 2023).

Following the victory against Bayern, Llull expressed his gratitude: "I am very happy and proud of all the games. I feel privileged to be at Madrid, and it has allowed me to become number one on the list. Achieving this with just one club is special. Loyalty is one of the values instilled in me, and I've aimed to uphold it throughout my career."

In addition to holding the record for most appearances, Llull is also the competition’s leader in victories and three-pointers made. After 18 seasons with Real Madrid, his remarkable achievements earned him a place in the Euroleague All-Decade Team (2010-2020).
