An emotional farewell was held at Real Madrid City to honor Lucas Vázquez, marking the end of a remarkable journey that began in 2007 when he arrived at the club as a 16-year-old. Now, after 402 appearances and 23 major trophies, he says goodbye as a true legend of the club.
Lucas was joined at the tribute ceremony by President Florentino Pérez, who awarded him the club’s prestigious gold and diamond badge. Honorary President José Martínez Pirri, Director of Football Santiago Solari, and several members of the Board of Directors were also in attendance. Adding to the significance of the moment, teammates Marcelo, Mbappé, and Lunin came to show their support.
