During the press conference before the second game of the Finals between the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic was asked about Kylian Mbappé's signing with Real Madrid. As a well-known Real Madrid fan, Doncic revealed his knowledge of the transfer before its official announcement.

The Slovenian player was clear and direct and, laughing, admitted that he already knew that the Frenchman had signed for Real Madrid, a response that inevitably raised laughter among those present.

His response did not end there, though, as they went on to ask him whether he had spoken with him. He answered that he had not had a chance to do so since his signing for Los Blancos.
