Andriy Lunin has reportedly been offered to Juventus on loan, according to Nicolo Schira, a highly regarded journalist specializing in Serie A transfers.
According to Schira’s sources, Real Madrid have proposed a loan deal for the Ukrainian goalkeeper that would include an option for Juventus to buy him next year. The figures and specific conditions of the potential agreement remain unknown for now.
Lunin played a key role in Real Madrid’s 15th European Cup triumph, delivering a series of important saves and outstanding performances throughout almost the entire Champions League campaign. He only missed the final after Thibaut Courtois recovered from his injury.
If the move goes ahead, Real Madrid would be left without their second-choice goalkeeper. The club would then have to decide whether to sign another backup goalkeeper in the final days of the transfer window or promote Javi Navarro, the Castilla goalkeeper and a recent UEFA Youth League winner with La Fábrica.
