The excessive noise generated by various events at the renovated Santiago Bernabéu continues to spark controversy. Real Madrid has submitted a mitigation plan to the capital's City Council, which views it as "positive," but affected residents find it "insufficient" and are preparing legal action.

The proposed measures include installing acoustic screens and canvases, relocating speaker batteries used during concerts, and limiting their power. Additionally, the club suggests employing commissioners to ensure compliance with regulations.

The plan has been presented to the Madrid City Council, which appreciates it for potentially reducing the noise levels from events. However, platforms representing affected residents consider the measures inadequate and are pursuing judicial recourse.

Madrid's Mayor, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, commented on the plan, emphasizing the intention to implement technical means to better isolate the venue and ensure promoters maintain appropriate decibel levels. "I think it is a good agreement. We have worked discreetly with Real Madrid to reduce the noise," said Martínez-Almeida.

One measure under consideration is capping the number of concerts at the Bernabéu to 20 per year, a number residents still deem excessive.

To ensure compliance and evaluate the effectiveness of these measures, a monitoring commission comprising Real Madrid, the City Council, and the Community will be established. This commission will also implement additional measures if necessary.
