Initially, it was confirmed that he had a broken nose, but late at night, the president of the French Federation reassured everyone via RMC, stating that Mbappé would not require surgery and might be ready to play against the Netherlands.
According to RMC, Mbappé could make it to Friday's game, albeit with a mask. He seems to be taking it in stride, even joking about it—a positive sign. His tweet after leaving the Düsseldorf hospital was hopeful.
