Kylian Mbappé and France faced a scare, but the latest news is promising. The Bondy native alarmed fans during 'Les Bleus' Euro 2024 debut in Germany after a hard collision with Kevin Danso in the final minutes of a tense 1-0 match. He left the field injured with a visibly affected nose. Initially, it was confirmed that he had a broken nose, but late at night, the president of the French Federation reassured everyone via RMC, stating that Mbappé would not require surgery and might be ready to play against the Netherlands.

According to RMC, Mbappé could make it to Friday's game, albeit with a mask. He seems to be taking it in stride, even joking about it—a positive sign. His tweet after leaving the Düsseldorf hospital was hopeful.

In the early hours of Tuesday, the French federation released a statement confirming the reassuring news: Mbappé has returned to the French team's training camp, will not undergo surgery, and a mask will be made for him so he can play.
