After France's qualification for the semi-finals of the European Championship, Kylian Mbappé spent time with a close friend, Jean-Charles de Bono. De Bono, a former Olympique de Marseille player, facilitated Mbappé's meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo over a decade ago.
The bond between Mbappé and de Bono has remained strong, leading to a reunion after the Portugal-France match. De Bono asked Mbappé to sign a shirt with the number '10' and his name on the back. According to La Provence, de Bono then requested a photo, asking, "Can I upload them to social networks? Since you are Parisian and I am from Marseille..."
Mbappé's response was immediate: "I am no longer Parisian, I have signed for Real Madrid."
