Former Real Madrid player Pedja Mijatovic, who was crucial in Los Merengues' victory over Juventus in the 1998 Champions League final, provided an analysis of the team's current state.
"Real Madrid, like all big teams, has its good and bad moments," said Mijatovic.
"Madrid is very much alive, and interesting things always happen when you start to think they are dead. I'm sure Ancelotti will find solutions, he's an old man. A cycle is not over, at Madrid there is always a hunger for titles."
When it comes to Los Blancos' transfer market strategy, Mijatovic is even more relaxed.
"We do not have to sign anyone in January, but there are certain things we must do in the summer, for which the club is undoubtedly preparing.
"We need a striker, a creative midfielder, full-backs... I know they are working on signing Bellingham. Of course, I'm still dreaming about Mbappe, sooner or later he should be a Real Madrid player."
"I think we can enjoy Modric a bit more. Hazard is unbelievable, nobody expected it. Talking about him now is practically like talking about a former player," the Serbian explained.
