Real Madrid's medical team has diagnosed Éder Militao with a muscle injury caused by overload in the rectus femoris of his right leg, following tests conducted this morning. It is expected that the Brazilian center-back will be sidelined for approximately ten days.
This news offers some relief to coach Carlo Ancelotti, who is now left with only two first-team central defenders. Militao is expected to miss three key games (against Real Sociedad, Espanyol, and Stuttgart). His goal is to recover in time for the match against Alavés on September 25 and possibly be ready for the first Madrid derby of the season at the Cívitas Metropolitano four days later.
