It is not a good time for Real Madrid in general, nor for many of the players in particular, as is the case with Fede Valverde. At the end of the final of the Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona, Valverde's partner and journalist, Mina Bonino, published a 'post' on Instagram in which they confirmed that they are not going through a good time for personal reasons and that "it is one of the most difficult weeks they have had to go through".

The Uruguayan participated in the entire match in Riyadh, but it was not his best performance, and their eternal rivals won the first trophy of 2023. For this reason, Mina Bonino, who frequently publishes in support of Valverde, has commented:

"This week was one of the hardest we've ever had to go through, but there you are with your smile trying to cheer us up and giving it your all for us. I know you wanted this title to ease our pain a little, but you don't have to prove anything to us because we'll always be there, through thick and thin. Now we have to go through a few difficult months, but we're going to get through this and every one to come and it's all going to be an anecdote."
