Luka Modric has taken advantage of the international break to clarify his intentions about his future. The midfielder ends his contract with Real Madrid on June 30. In the absence of a possible renewal being confirmed, he has already been linked with other offers that would make him leave the Spanish capital. I believe and hope that it comes true, the rest are just assumptions and rumours. I repeat the same thing for the hundredth time: I hope and believe that I will stay at Real Madrid", he expressed.

In the recent months Modric has been associated with a possible move to Saudi Arabia after receiving a multi-million dollar offer. His future has been up in the air throughout the season. Without official news of a renewal or possible departure, the sensations with the midfielder have been changing over the months. Despite continuing to play an important role at Real Madrid and giving a good level on the pitch, at times he was seen more outside than inside the Santiago Bernabéu.

In recent days, the news was already breaking that Luka Modric had decided to reject the offer from Saudi Arabia to play at least one more season at Real Madrid.
