According to OK diario, Luka Modric has informed Real Madrid that he wants to leave the club after getting a staggering €120 million (for 3 seasons) offer to play in the Saudi league.
The Croatian midfielder was on the point of signing a one-year contract extension with Real Madrid before being tempted by the outrageous offer from the oil-rich country.
Modric is one of Real Madrid's icons, having spent 11 years with the club and winning every title at least twice.
This season, the Croatian midfielder has appeared 51 times for Real Madrid, scoring six goals and providing six assists. It is even more astonishing when you consider Modric's age - he will be 38 in September.
