Fernando Morientes has shared his view on who should take charge of Real Madrid, naming Raúl González Blanco as his preferred candidate.
Speaking on El Partidazo de COPE, the former striker stated that if he were the club’s sporting director, he would appoint Raúl, who was working within the youth academy last season.
Morientes also expressed surprise at the way events unfolded regarding Raúl’s situation at the club, particularly how Álvaro Arbeloa ended up taking the role ahead of him. He admitted he did not expect Raúl’s departure to happen in that manner.
