Real Madrid host Sevilla tonight with the prospect of significant changes to the starting lineup. José Mourinho is expected to make adjustments after the reaction of several fringe players in Rome, while the team will also be looking to build on the morale boost provided by their Champions League comeback victory.

The match will be Real Madrid's first without Vinicius, who begins a four-game suspension. His absence raises questions about Mourinho's attacking plans, particularly given that the Brazilian had remained a regular starter despite his recent struggles for form.

One option gaining momentum is Endrick's return to the right wing, a possibility that seemed less likely before his outstanding display in Italy. The Brazilian made a huge impact against Gian Piero Gasperini's side, and Mourinho is seriously considering giving him another opportunity in that role. Mbappé would remain up front, while Diomande could continue on the left after causing significant problems for the opposition in Rome.

Such a setup would likely see Bellingham move into a deeper position, bringing a major change to the attacking trio Mourinho has relied on throughout the season.

However, the Portuguese coach is also considering alternatives involving Arda Güler. The Turkish midfielder came off the bench in the second half and showed enough to strengthen his case for more playing time. With Vinicius unavailable, he could operate in a more advanced role or feature alongside Tchouaméni and Valverde in midfield.

Mourinho must also decide whether to change his midfield structure by dropping one of his two holding midfielders. Tchouaméni is considered the more likely candidate to make way for another option, potentially allowing Real Madrid to improve their lack of fluidity in possession. Bellingham or Güler could help address that issue if Mourinho opts to reshape the attack around Mbappé.

At the back, Huijsen is available again after serving a one-match suspension and could return to the starting lineup.
