Real Madrid have had a busy summer transfer window, with numerous signings and departures already completed. José Mourinho has been heavily involved in the process, with the Portuguese manager given significant authority to decide which players fit into his plans for the upcoming season and which ones do not. In this context, José Félix Díaz reports that Mourinho has personally told some Real Madrid players that he is not counting on them. The Portuguese manager intended these conversations to encourage their departures from the club, although Eduardo Camavinga and Raúl Asencio have provided the most resistance.

Real Madrid needed to move players on before being able to make further signings, and these two situations have become a major obstacle. The club wanted both Camavinga and Asencio to leave in order to make room for two more quality additions to those positions. However, neither player has been willing to leave, meaning further arrivals could be difficult unless their situations are resolved.

At present, Asencio appears to be the player closest to finding a solution. The academy graduate is exploring potential destinations, although his priority remains staying at the Santiago Bernabéu. Camavinga, meanwhile, remains determined to continue at Real Madrid despite Mourinho making his position clear.
