Thiago Pitarch is considered one of the brightest talents to emerge from the Real Madrid academy. During the second half of last season, the midfielder established himself as an important part of the team, starting almost 10 consecutive matches and taking on a key role as the team's playmaker and organizer from the center of the pitch.

The youngster returned to training at the start of the season after representing Spain's U19 side at the European Championship, where Spain lifted the trophy with Pitarch playing an important role. However, an injury suffered after his return to Madrid has disrupted his preparations at Valdebebas.

Despite that setback, his position within the Real Madrid project appears to be secure. According to Alberto Pereiro, Mourinho was informed about the possibility of Pitarch leaving the club, potentially following the same path as Gonzalo García and César Palacios.

The Portuguese coach's response was reportedly unequivocal: "You're not going anywhere."

Speaking on Onda Cero's Radio Estadio Noche, Pereiro explained that Mourinho is counting on the midfielder and could even see him competing for a starting role. The coach believes Real Madrid need a player capable of giving the team structure, control and creativity from the center of the pitch, qualities that Pitarch can provide.

For now, therefore, the academy graduate's future appears to be firmly at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Mourinho seemingly determined to give him an opportunity to establish himself in the first team.
