Real Madrid has signed Maëlle Lakrar, a 24-year-old defender from Montpellier, where she has played for the last six seasons. Prior to her time at Montpellier, she was with Olympique de Marseille.
Lakrar, a European Under-19 Champion in 2019, has been a full international since 2023 and is a consistent presence in the French national team's starting line-up.
