Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Andrés Feliz, a talented 26-year-old Dominican point guard standing at 1.88m. Feliz joins Los Blancos from Joventut, where he made a significant impact over the past three seasons, emerging as an elite player in European basketball.

Despite signing a contract extension with Joventut until 2026 in February, Feliz's agreement included a termination clause of 500,000 euros. Real Madrid successfully negotiated to secure his services by triggering this clause, attempting to lower the amount until the last minute.

Feliz has been one of the standout players in the Liga Endesa last season, averaging 15 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and a PIR of 16.9. His stellar performances earned him a place in the league's best quintet, alongside Facundo Campazzo, who he will now team up with in Madrid. One of his highlights includes scoring a remarkable game-winning triple from nearly 20 meters against Surne Bilbao, which was voted the best basket of the season.

In addition to his Liga Endesa success, Feliz has excelled in the Eurocup, posting averages of 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and a PIR of 19.6. The Dominican guard, who will play as a European citizen thanks to his Cotonou passport, is expected to bring his impressive skill set and leadership to Real Madrid's backcourt.
