A new clasico is coming. This Thursday Real Madrid receive at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium a Barcelona team that is going through difficult times before the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals.

The team led by Carlo Ancelotti has a unique opportunity to add to Barça's wounds, who come to this crucial game after being eliminated in the Europa League against Manchester United and losing in LaLiga against Almería. In addition, neither Pedri nor Lewandowski will be available to play.

The fact is that Real Madrid could receive a last-minute 'signing' for the Copa del Rey clasico. It's about Rodrygo Goes, who was injured at Anfield last week and was ruled out -in principle- to face Barcelona. This is how Edu Aguirre  has told it on the Twitch channel of El Chiringuito de Jugones: "There is a good chance that Rodrygo will play the clasico at this time. The coaching staff is very happy with the Brazilian and the player is quite confident that he can arrive to the clasico", he explains.

"Today, Monday, he did part of the training session with the rest of the team; tomorrow he will do another part. The objective of Rodrygo and the coaching staff is for the footballer to complete training with the group on Wednesday, the day before the game against Barcelona. That day he will pass a final test; and, if he manages to carry out the complete training session with the group without discomfort, he will be called up. Then Ancelotti will decide if he makes him the starter or uses him as a substitute", adds Edu Aguirre.
