Despite an unsuccessful attempt to sign Vinicius Junior last summer, Saudi Arabia is once again targeting the Real Madrid star. Sources within the league have stated, "It's not a dream, we're working on it." The Saudi Pro League is reportedly ready to offer a total of €1 billion over five seasons to secure the services of the Brazilian forward. This year, they plan to make another bid, using their financial power to attract him away from the Santiago Bernabéu.

However, Vinicius Jr. remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2027, which includes a massive €1 billion release clause. For the Saudi side to sign the player, they would either need to reach an agreement with the Madrid board or pay the full release clause directly to the club. At present, Real Madrid has no intention of letting go of their star player.

As revealed by Josep Pedrerol on El Chiringuito de Jugones, Real Madrid will not negotiate with Saudi Arabia regarding the sale of Vinicius. "They shouldn’t even bother calling; they should pay the billion. If not, nothing will happen. It’s clear—if they want him, they have to meet the clause," Pedrerol warned, highlighting the firm stance of the Merengue leadership.
