The National Police arrested four people in Madrid on suspicion of committing a hate crime by hanging a mannequin wearing Vinicius' shirt from a bridge. Three of those arrested are active members of Frente Atlético, with only one having a police record for injuries. The detainees are 19, 21, 23, and 24 years old.

The incidents happened at the end of January, just before the Copa del Rey match between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. A sign stating "Madrid hates Real" appeared on a bridge near to the IFEMA fairs, in front of the Real Madrid Sports City in Valdebebeas. A doll hanging by the neck (simulating a hung man) with the Real Madrid shirt and Vinicius' name on the back was positioned right next to the banner.

In this case, LaLiga filed a complaint with Madrid's Investigative Court No. 28, which was backed by a report from its integrity and security department, which pointed out the responsibility of a specific individual.

The investigations, which included traces, witnesses, and discussions with open sources, led to the identification of four men as alleged perpetrators of the incidents. Furthermore, the agents were able to confirm that three of the suspected culprits were members of Frente Atlético and that they had previously been recognized during high-risk matches using violence prevention equipment in sport.

Once the four suspected culprits were identified, a device was deployed on Tuesday morning, allowing their arrest in a joint operation with Madrid's Investigative Court number 38 and the Provincial Prosecutor's Office's Cyberhate Unit.
