Rafa Nadal shared his thoughts on Julián Álvarez's controversial penalty against Real Madrid in the Champions League during an interview with Susana Guasch on Movistar Plus+.
"It was an incredible stroke of bad luck for him. I think he made contact twice with the ball, and that seems to have been confirmed. As a Real Madrid fan, I celebrated the victory, but I felt really bad, especially for Julián. Aside from being a great player, he seems like a genuinely decent person, and I wish him the best, but sports can be cruel," Nadal explained.
