Real Madrid's Board of Directors, which met on Wednesday, November 4, has agreed to submit the appointment of Rafael Nadal Parera as a new member of the club's Board of Directors to the General Assembly of Delegate Members for ratification. Nadal is a club member under number 67,778 and also holds honorary membership.

One of the greatest legends in sporting history and one of Spain's most admired and recognised athletes worldwide, Nadal's addition to the Board is a source of great pride for Real Madrid and its supporters. The club believes his sporting and personal qualities will allow him to contribute to its present and future from this position of responsibility.

Nadal has built an extraordinary career, winning 92 individual titles, including 22 Grand Slams, two Olympic gold medals and five Davis Cups with Spain. He also reached the world number one ranking. However, his legacy extends far beyond his achievements on the court.

His talent, determination to improve, capacity for sacrifice, competitiveness, humility, respect for opponents and teammates, and commitment to solidarity have made him a role model both on and off the court.

According to Real Madrid, these values are deeply rooted in the club's identity, and Nadal has consistently represented and defended them throughout his sporting career, becoming an example for millions of people around the world.
