On the contrary, club sources insist that these second assessments are proposed by the medical department when they believe they can improve diagnostic accuracy and optimize recovery timelines.

Real Madrid has firmly backed Mihic’s approach, clarifying that the trips made by both Mbappé and Bellingham to their respective countries were decisions taken by the head of medical services in coordination with the club’s structure.
