Real Madrid and Abbott have launched the Innovation Lab, a place where Real Madrid Medical Services and Abbott scientists collaborate to develop innovative ideas and explore the future of sports nutrition and physiology.

The center, a project aimed at enhancing our players' performances, is located in the first team facilities at Real Madrid City.

This partnership will result in conferences, seminars, and studies like the one Abbott and Real Madrid jointly conducted and published in the specialized scientific journal Frontiers, which explores the use of biomarkers to understand player fatigue and recovery. The work done in the Innovation Lab is intended to assist medical teams in creating the best nutrition protocols to improve the performance of the players.
